چکیده

Obtaining Heusler alloys at the nanoscale with good crystallographic features is appealing for a large range of technological applications, from biomedical to spintronics devices. In particular, Fe2CrAl as bulk known present magnetic properties that are strongly sensitive chemical and physical constraints, such structural disorder composition. We report throughout structural, morphological, characterization nanoparticles obtained by pulsed laser deposition technique. The composed slightly off-stoichiometric grains two distinct morphologies where role inhomogeneity on behavior was evaluated. Through DC magnetization measurements, superparamagnetic observed Gilbert damping 9×10−3 acquired broadband ferromagnetic resonance data, which comparable standard materials used magnonics applications. discuss complex magnetostructural coupling rises nanoparticle system, comparing these results stoichiometric target behavior.

Investigation of Magnetite Thin-Films Produced by Pulsed Laser Deposition

Thin-films of magnetite, F@04 have been produced by the XeCl excimer laser ablation of both Fe304 and metallic Fe targets. The ablation of metallic Fe has been shown to produce about two orders of magnitude smaller concentration of boulders than the ablation of bulk magnetite. The use of single-crystal, latticematching substrates was found to be necessary at lower fluences (1 3 J cm-') for the ...

Ni–Mn–Ga thin films produced by pulsed laser deposition

Polycrystalline Ni–Mn–Ga thin films have been deposited by the pulsed laser deposition ~PLD! technique, using slices of a Ni–Mn–Ga single crystal as targets and onto Si ~100! substrates at temperatures ranging from 673 K up to 973 K. Off-stoichiometry thin films were deposited at a base pressure of 1310 Torr or in a 5 mTorr Ar atmosphere. Samples deposited in vacuum and temperatures above 823 K...

Boron films produced by high energy Pulsed Laser Deposition

Micron-thick boron films have been deposited by Pulsed Laser Deposition in vacuum on several substrates at room temperature. The use of high energy pulses (>700 mJ) results in the deposition of smooth coatings with low oxygen uptake even at base pressures of 10 -4 -10 -3 Pa. A detailed structural analysis, by X-Ray Diffraction and Raman, allowed to assess the amorphous nature of the deposited f...

On the growth mechanisms of thin films produced by pulsed laser deposition

For more than ten years Pulsed Laser Deposition (PLD) has been used to produce Y\Ba2CU307-l5 (YBCO) thin films. Most groups have reported their capacity to produce films with roughly optimum characteristics. Unfortunately, the deposition parameters used by the individual groups vruy within broad limits [1-5]. Each group develops a similar but unique recipe of deposition parameters, which, combi...
